I have over 15 years of fine art and education experience. UI was a natural fit for me as I transitioned from education because it combines my passion for fine arts, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial strengths. My fine art and teaching experience has strengthened my deep understanding of deliverables, logistics, organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and time management. I take pride in my ability to manage multiple deadlines and challenges at once. In addition, I was responsible for communicating and corresponding daily within a diverse environment which allowed me to think creatively and find solutions that satisfied all parties involved. I'm excited to take these skills into a new position in which I am afforded the responsibility of collaborative design and working toward building a positive team culture. When I'm not in my studio, I love spending time with family, my husband, and our fur baby Salem. I also enjoy reading, dabbling on the guitar, and kayaking. Passionate about nature, you can almost always find me in the forest on a trail.
